Today as I was hearing out “The Morning Stream” podcast from iTunes, Scott, one of the speakers mentioned how he heard the word “Webinar” at least every day. He wasn’t too thrilled about it, but mostly because of the overuse of the word.
But what is a webinar exactly? In this digital age, your clients can come from anywhere around the world. But what’s more, may be you want to reach customers from all over the world but don’t quite have a budget that will make you travel the world and the seven seas to go get them.
So, if your business is already digital, or at least a large support to it comes from the digital world, then why not use that as your main launching tool? A webinar it’s a new word; so new, it doesn’t even appear in the English dictionary, not even in the spelling check on this Blog.
A webinar is a junction for Web Seminar. Now, seminar may sound to you as a class or a session, but people have taken advantage of this tool in so many other ways. It may be a presentation of your company, its product, its service, or simply the people in it. What’s most interesting? It can be taken as a viral video and reach anyone in the world. NEW CUSTOMERS, NO BORDERS would be the punch line in this novelty. Might consider it? Why not give it a try?
